Paediatric Physiotherapy

Paediatric physiotherapy is a specialized sort of physiotherapy which focusses on babies, children and youth from 0 to 18 years. Most children develop their senses and motor skills themselves but some children need a little help. There can also be an actual limitation in the child’s development. Paediatric physiotherapy can help these children to develop optimally.

Indications for paediatric physiotherapy are very diverse. Examples are cry-babies, asymmetrical development, laggard motor development, writing problems, orthopaedic problems, postural problems, breathing problems and overall fitness problems.
